Your journey begins with pickup from any hotel in Bali (Ubud, Canggu, Kuta or Lovina). Drive westward to Gilimanuk Harbor for the 30-minute ferry crossing to Banyuwangi, the gateway to East Java. ⛴️
Upon your arrival in Ketapang Harbor (East java side), you’ll drive west toward Lumajang, the province of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. The six-hour journey winds through beautiful villages, forests and rice fields. Upon arrival, check into a local lodging near Pronojiwo Village and spend the evening resting for tomorrow’s waterfall exploration. 🌾🚐

After breakfast, prepare for an unforgettable morning hike to the “Niagara of East Java.” 💦
Tumpak Sewu Waterfall — meaning “A Thousand Falls” — towers 120 meters and falls in a circle around a misty valley. Descend carefully via bamboo stairs and ladder paths to the base for panoramic photos of the multi-layered cascades.
Moreover, visit the adjoining Goa Tetes Cave, where mineral water flows through stalactites into small natural pools. After a local lunch, begin your drive back to Banyuwangi. 🌄

At midnight, set out for Mount Ijen with your local guide. After a 90-minute hike, the view opens to a surreal glow — electric blue flames rising from sulfur vents in the dark. 🔥
As the sky lightens, the crater reveals a turquoise acid lake framed by black lava ridges and mist. It’s one of the world’s most photographed sunrises. 📸
After breakfast, begin your drive back to Ketapang for the ferry crossing to Bali. ⛴️ By evening, you’ll arrive at your hotel — tired but fulfilled by East Java’s natural grandeur
